Equinox Writing And Slow Craft Workshop

Instructors: Dani Burlison & Heidi Iverson

What better time to find balance with your creative pursuits than the Equinox? As we prepare ourselves for the days growing shorter, we will write stories and construct journal covers among the beautiful gardens and oaks at Emandal. Dani will lead you through writing activities focusing on themes of balance and change;  Heidi will help you create a unique journal cover using fabric and sashiko thread naturally dyed with local plants. There will be plenty of time for contemplation on the land, conversations, and alone time. We will offer optional gentle yogic stretching, share mindfulness moments, and maybe even make fire cider to bring into the dark months ahead.

We want this to feel like a creative vacation. Additional slow-stitch projects will be available.
